351 Fire Rated Adjustable Astragal

Category J gaskets for use with listed steel frames and/or classified steel covered composite, hollow metal doors rated up to and including 3 hours; wood and plastic covered composite doors rated up to and including 1-1/2 hours; and wood core doors rated for 20 minutes.

PEMKO Adjustable Astragal Seals are manufactured with adjusting screws to allow for adjustment in the field.

When installing pairs of fire doors, care must be taken to maintain the requirements of NFPA 80.

Air Infiltration Tested: Products indicated by this symbol have been air infiltration tested in accordance with the requirements of ASTM E-283 Rate of Air Leakage Through Exterior Windows, Curtain Walls, and Doors.

Fire Rated - UL10C - Positive Pressure: Products indicated by this symbol are classified as GASKET MATERIAL FOR USE ON LISTED STEEL FRAMES AND CLASSIFIED HOLLOW METAL STEEL COMPOSITE TYPE FIRE DOORS RATED UP TO AND INCLUDING 3 HOURS, WOOD COMPOSITE TYPE FIRE DOORS RATED UP TO AND INCLUDING 1-1/2 HOURS AND WOOD CORE FIRE DOORS RATED 20 MINUTES.These products have been tested to meet the requirements of UL 10B and UL 10C, Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, UBC 7-2 Fire Tests of Door Assemblies Part 1-1997, and NFPA 252 with the neutral pressure plane regulated at 40". Underwriters Laboratory 4L10: Products indicated by this symbol have been tested for fire resistance by Underwriters Laboratory and are covered under a follow-up services program.

Guarantee: PEMKO products are guaranteed for five (5) years against defects in material or workmanship. PEMKO will not be liable for defects or damages arising from improper installation, product modification, incorrect application or storage of product. Written notice of damages must occur within the warranty period. Liability shall be limited to the replacement of product or component determined to be defective and shall not include costs arising from removal or reinstallation of product. Cost of replacement shall not exceed original purchase price. No other claims will be allowed.
