GeoMetek Upholstery Leather Pulls - Specifications

Most of Rockwood's products are available in a wide variety of architectural finishes. The photographs generally show only one finish for aesthetic reasons, but all traditional architectural finishes are available. The base metal for the GeoMetek Collection is stainless steel.

Upholstery Leather

Upholstery leather is available in two standard colors or from a universe of custom leather. Rockwood uses 3 to 4 ounce chrome tanned leather, tightly wrapped and neatly sewn along the back. Detail end stitching compliments this glove soft leather which is suitable for interior applications.

Leather Maintenance

Upholstery Leather has a breathable protective finish that is best cleaned by wiping with a cool damp cloth. For tougher soiling, use a pH balanced soap on a cloth and rinse. Always use cool water. Repeat if necessary. Do not use wax, mink oil, saddle soap or polishes on upholstery leather. Leather Maintenance Kits are available from the factory.

We recommend periodic application of a good leather conditioner such as Mermac Mink Oil. Frequency of maintenance depends on exposure to weather and wear. Mermac will darken the leather about the same as a drop of water. Test a small spot prior to using to verify the slight color change that naturally occurs is appealing. Rockwood Door Pulls – Mounting Types

Rockwood mounting systems firmly attach the pull to the door and are guaranteed for the life of the door. Choose from thrubolt, back-to-back or concealed mountings for wood, metal and glass doors.

Please note the following:

• Y base plates are recommended on wood or glass doors to make a stable and durable mounting.

• Heavy Duty (HD) mounting features hex drive for positive tightening and large overall size for superior strength. (Recommended for high frequency and rough service openings.)

Options:

• For optional mid-post, suffix the product number with "MP" (example: RM7900MP).
  Mid-post recommended for maximum rigidity on pulls over 80".

• Over 96" CTC available on select finishes.

Application Suggestions

General Warranty: Rockwood Manufacturing Company warrants that its products when properly delivered, installed and maintained, under normal use and service conditions, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of delivery. Because of variations in atmospheric and climatic conditions, Rockwood does not warrant that its products will maintain a “like new” appearance for any length of time, so this warranty does not extend to the appearance of Rockwood’s products. Rockwood shall have no responsibility other than the repair or replacement of defective products.
