Three Knuckle Standard Weight Series

The full mortise bearing hinge is recommended for standard weight, medium frequency doors, or doors with closing devices.

TA314: ANSI A5112 stainless base, std. weight.

TA314: ANSI A2112 brass base, std. weight.

TA714: ANSI A8112 steel base, std. weight.

Three Knuckle Heavy Weight Series

Recommended for use on high frequency and/or heavy wood or metal doors in schools, hospitals or other public buildings where heavy traffic is experienced.

TA386: ANSI A5111 stainless base, std. weight.

TA386: ANSI A2111 brass base, std. weight.

TA786: ANSI A8111 steel base, std. weight.

Heavy weight hinges should be used on all extra heavy doors or those exposed to high frequency use
Use for the common flush door / frame / wall application
Beveled Edge – where doors are beveled on hinge side, specify TA 5386 or TA 5786
5x5, 6x5, 6x6 and 8x6 – not available in Brass Base material
