Rockwood Door Pulls

The Rockwood Collection of architectural hardware is designed with strict attention to detail, from the selection of top-grade materials to application of the finest finishes, resulting in a product of the highest caliber for decades of lasting beauty.

Madero stocks three families of Rockwood door pulls: SoftMet™, NoirTek™, and MegaTek™. Choose from a 16", 36", or 60" stainless steel door pull, where available, and then choose your locking hardware.

SoftMet pulls feature durable, weather-resistant black 1-1/4" diameter Santoprene™ grips, sandwiched between metal fittings.

Santoprene is a high performance engineered thermoplastic elastomer used for many consumer goods grip applications. The comfortable feel of this material is widely proven, even on cold exterior applications.

Door Pull Attachments

Contemporary door pulls make a statement in modern design—whether a subtle edge or more obvious design feature is required. Door pull handles can be fashioned in a couple of different ways; providing a sleek product which isn't only on trend but provides all the security of a handleset or lever/deadbolt combination.

Unlike a handleset or door knob unit, a door pull does not include a latching mechanism. Therefore, in conjunction with a deadbolt or mortise lock hardware, roller latches are utilized.

Product Dimensions

Choose your product design and length, and then choose your locking hardware.

Product length refers to the dimensions center-to-center (CTC) of the mounting posts. Please reference the below diagrams for complete product length measurements.

Offset vs. Straight

Offset vs. straight product styling is usually determined based on the aesthetics you are hoping to achieve, and the functionality required to ensure you have a product which meets your everyday needs.

Offset pulls are designed to incorporate a deadbolt along the length of the pull, allowing additional clearance when locking/unlocking the deadbolt.

Straight pulls incorporate the deadbolt installation above the pull.

Madero's stocked 16" pulls are available in either straight or offset, while longer pulls—36" and 60" pulls—are available as an offset only.

Back-To-Back Mounting

All of Madero's stocked door pull products are designed with back-to-back mounting (BTB). BTB mounting features two door pulls which are connected through the door, each pull opposite the other.

Roller Latches

Ives RL30 Roller Latch

These heavy duty roller latches provide a strong enough resistance from roller to strike to securely fasten most door applications.

Actuation is simple, closing of the door causes the roller to fall in the depression of the strike, thereby holding the door closed. The projection of the roller is easily adjusted using adjusting crews on the face of the unit.

Maximum projection of the roller is 3/8", allowing for variance in the door clearance
